The TurkishBank Group began its operations in Turkey when TürkBankası in Cyprus opened its Istanbul Branch in 1982.
The Group’s operations in Turkey gained separate legal entity status as TurkishBank on December 27, 1991, when it ceased to be classified as a foreign bank.
TurkishBank’s core business areas include corporate, commercial, retail, and private banking services, as well as project financing and fund management. In addition to banking activities, agency services are also provided through its branches on behalf of Turkish Securities.
